Aspen Insurance Holdings turns to mortgage veteran for newly created role

Aspen Insurance Holdings has appointed Andrew Rippert (pictured) to the newly created position of Executive Vice President and Head of Mortgage. He will report to Christian Dunleavy, Aspen Reinsurance’s Chief Underwriting Officer, and will serve on the Reinsurance Executive Committee.

The company said Monday that Rippert, a 20-year-old industry veteran, will help Aspen design and build its global mortgage insurance and reinsurance business and portfolio. The company added that Rippert’s arrival comes as it “remains focused on strategic and profitable growth opportunities across the group”.
