FFIEC Publishes 2020 HMDA Data on Mortgage Lending | Weiner Brodsky Kider PC

The Audit Council of the Federal Financial Institutions (FFIEC) recently released the dates of the Modified Loan Application Register of the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) for 2020. The publicly available data includes loan-level information submitted by approximately 4,400 financial institutions that has been modified to protect privacy. The data can be accessed via FFIECs HMDA platform.

The 2020 HMDA information is expected to be available later this year in several additional formats including: a nationwide loan-level dataset with aggregated reports and disclosure reports with summary information by geography and lender; the HMDA data browser, which allows users to create custom data sets and reports; and a data point article highlighting key trends in annual data.
