The Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a New York-based nonprofit that was formed after September 11th, will repay the slain mortgage Boulder Police Officer Eric Talley.
Talley, 51, was shot dead along with nine other people when he was on the Mass shooting March 22nd at a King Soopers grocery store.
Frank Siller, CEO and chairman of the foundation, announced Saturday that the organization is paying back Talley’s mortgage through the Fallen First Responder Home program. Talley is survived by his wife and seven children.
The foundation was established in honor of Stephen Siller, a New York firefighter who was killed in the September 11th terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. Contributions can be made to the foundation on his website, tunnel2towers.org.
